Obituary of Roland Lloyd Brown

Roland Lloyd Brown, also known as Joe and Auga, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in Mississauga, Ontario, at the age of 76.
Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Roland later made his home in Etobicoke, Ontario, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and music. Those who knew him will remember his fun-loving spirit, his infectious smile, and his deep passion for music—especially reggae, country and his Sunday morning gospel. Music was the heartbeat of his soul and a reflection of his joyful nature.
He loved his kids and cherished the time he spent with his family. He spent his last hours surrounded by loved ones.
He will be dearly missed by his children, grandchildren, siblings, relatives and friends who will forever cherish the warmth, humour, and kindness he brought into their lives. His laughter, love, and light will continue to live on through every memory shared.
