Trystan,
You have been a part of our Knight family for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest memories are coming over to the condo you and Mikey shared, always filled with laughter, music, and good vibes. Those moments are in our hearts forever.
Two years ago, when Maleah and Kaliyah celebrated their birthday together, you showed up the way you always did, with so much love. Pizza in hand, full of different Caribbean flavours from that spot in Brampton… Jerk chicken pizza and Curry chicken pizza, so good, and so you. You didn’t just bring food, you brought joy.
You were thoughtful in ways big and small. Buying Kaliyah her first pair of Pandas meant more than you probably knew. It’s a reminder of how caring and generous your spirit was.
You loved deeply, you showed up fully, and you left a mark on our family that will never fade. We will miss you more than words can say. Please watch over us, Trystan. You’ll always be a part of us. Monique♡

The last time I visited Trystan he sitting on the steps outside. I said hi Trystan how are you and went to hug him. Hi said I'm ok grandma Zoe but dont hug me as i have a cold and dont want you to get it. I said oh Trystan, who cares and hugged him. That was who he was , sick but thinking of others. He was sweet, gentle and kind. " Go rest high on that mountain, Trystan your work on earth is done. Go ro heaven shouting, love for the Farher and the Son"

My condolences to Trystan’s family. I met him in high school. We had classes together throughout grade 9-11. We didn’t hang out much after school but we definitely had a solid bond in our classes. Trystan was a good guy, very down to earth. Was always being himself never trying to fit in. We had a lot of jokes in science class. Every time I talked to him I swear I learned a new word, he was ahead of his time when it came to his vocabulary lol. I didn’t forget about the gym class sessions when we played ball. That left handed 3 point shot was dangerous! In life we gotta cherish and live in the moments, and I’m glad I had some with you bro. To his family keep your head up. Love

You were more than a friend—you were my brother, one of the realest & genuine souls I ever met. One of the very few people I could truly count on no matter what.
Some of the hardest conversations I ever had, I had with you. And every time, you listened, no judgment, just real advice. Somehow, you always had the right words. That’s who you were—solid, genuine, always showing up.

I met Trystan in Grade 8 at McCrimmon Middle School. The first day I met him, he had on a fly Dallas Mavericks jersey and we gave him the nickname "Dallas". He had a radiant energy and we became good friends. We played basketball together, would make music for fun and sold NBA jerseys at school as part of our Entrepreneurship class. Trystan taught me how to be patient and optimistic. Trystan's impact in my life is cemented and I thank God for bringing Trystan into my life.

Thank you for the countless memories we were blessed to share with you. Thank you for the wisdom, the laughter, and the endless smiles. Thank you for always being there for Maleah; you truly spoiled her in the most beautiful ways. Choosing you as her Godfather was one of the best decisions Michael ever made. You loved her so fully and so selflessly. I wish you could have seen her reaction, the excitement but especially her smiles when she talks about you getting her shoes. You kept your word during these difficult times, and bought her those last pairs of shoes. They will forever be called her ‘Eco Basin Shoes’ because of the company You and Michael built together.
