Obituary of Kathleen Maggie-Lynn Williams-Ruxton
On Friday August 20, 2021 the world suddenly lost a beautiful soul. Kathleen (Kaitlynn) Maggie-Lynn Williams-Ruxton, age 33 years, passed away peacefully in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. A mother lost her daughter, a little girl lost her mother and siblings lost their baby sister.
Kaitlynn was born on March 19, 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. She was a loving, generous and beautiful woman. Kaitlynn attended Hillcrest Community School and Forest Hill Secondary School in Toronto. After moving to Thunder Bay, she was a Political Science major at Lakehead University graduating with honours in 2017. Moving on to work as a Law Clerk with Cupello & Company law firm. In July 2020, she joined Tikinagan Child and Family Services and began working as an Intake and Investigations Worker. Kaitlynn loved visiting her family in Toronto and made many friends during her time living in Thunder Bay. She loved the water and playing baseball with her team, the Brew Jays.
Kaitlynn's loss not only leaves everyone who knew her grieving but leaves a ten-year old girl without her mother through all the milestones she has ahead of her like celebrating her sweet sixteen, helping to pick and visit colleges. Anyone who knew Kaitlynn knows how much her daughter meant to her. She worked hard to give her a good life and gave her endless love.
Kaitlynn is survived by her daughter, Kadence Solomon; mother Paula Williams; sisters Cassandra Smith and Andrea Williams as well as nieces and nephews Marcus, Madeline, Joshua, Benjamin, Eion Tennessee and numerous other relatives. She was predeceased by her father Ian Ruxton.
If you so desire, donations made in her memory to a Go Fund Me page to support Kaitlynn's daughter would be greatly appreciated. (https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-memory-of-kaitlynn-williamsruxton)
