I grieve with the rest of my family members on the passing of dad. He was one of the kindest person I’ve had the pleasure of relating with, and I was very fortunate to be his son. I looked up to dad and was deeply saddened to hear about his death. I’ll always have great memories of him. As a child getting my feet wet and learning the many faucets of life dad was a great mentor to me and my other siblings. During his later years he was much closer to and developed a strong bond with my younger siblings and I am aware that this moment is probably more painful for those younger ones. I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now and am keeping you in my thoughts. Sending hugs and prayers your way. Dad led a remarkable life, touched a lot of people’s lives and made a lasting impact on those who were fortunate to be beneficiaries of his wisdom, knowledge and warm influence. I’ll always cherish the memories I had with him and will forever remember him as the giant of a man he was. May his Soul Rest in Peace and may light perpetual shine on him.

My father Sam Vincent Thompson was an inspiration to me in starting my christian life, he was that warm, pleasant and an approachable person who would encourage just about anyone he came in contact with, whether familiar or unknown to him. My Dad with the help of God enjoyed a long life time. May his soul rest in the arms of Jesus.

Please accept my sincere condolences from the Robinson family. We pray for comfort and strength during this difficult time. Pastor Thompson (Papa T) you will be missed , I will always remember our fishing trips and the many messages you preach. I remember one of his favorite books or one he introduced to me call The Bumps Are What We Climb On. Very good book. R. I.P. Papa T. Sis Sharon

Ann-Marie Thompson My granddad and I spoke often so I guess I had a better relationship with him than most if not all of his grandchildren however I still feel like I never truly knew him but I am grateful for one thing when I was getting married my dad could not be here and my granddad came from Canada to Florida just so that he can walk me down the aisle and I will never forget that rest in eternal peace granddad I love you Love you granddad
