The Late Mrs. Eva Urcella Bennett

We are heartbroken to inform you of the passing of a remarkable woman. On Friday, November 18, 2022, at Etobicoke General Hospital, Eva Urcella (Toots) Bennett passed away unexpectedly.

Estoria Bennett and Harold Lewis welcomed their firstborn daughter, Eva, in Freetown Clarendon, Jamaica.  She was one of sixteen siblings.

She had a good life. She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed attending church. Eva had nine children, and two of them pre-deceased her. Her husband, Victor Brown, passed away in 2008.

In the mid-1980s, Eva migrated to Canada for a better life. She put in long hours at the office to support her family. Toots had seven offspring, thirty grandkids, twenty-two great-grandkids, five sisters, three brothers, dozens of nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends.
