I worked with Carmen on OBS at Ajax and Pickering Hospital many years ago. Condolences to Coreen and her family. I remember she was a great nurse who loved her patients. She had a beautiful smile. loved to laugh and was fun to work with. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. I can still hear her jovial laugh. Rest in peace my friend and co- worker. Betty Ann

I'm saddened by the loss of my beautiful cousin. My deepest condolences to her siblings, daughter Coreen and children. We do not grieve as those without hope because Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life, was her Lord and Saviour. Be encouraged.

Our deepest condolences to your family. I’ll always remember Carmen as my other 2550 Mom. I’ll never forget the time as a teenager when i stayed out all night and ended getting brought home by the police because my Mom reported me as missing. After my Mom gave it to me I then REALLY got it from Carmen but wayyy worse and for hours! Corinne you even got in trouble if i remember correctly just for being in the same room. I always knew not to mess around but also Carmen was always sweet to me and I’ll always remember that. May she Rest In Paradise. Sending your family love, strength and guidance.

To my dear Coreen, and the entire family of Sis Moodie. On behalf of the McLeggon family, we would like to offer our sincere condolences. Honestly, those words don’t do justice to how we really feel. We loved Sis Moodie, and she loved us! She especially loved Donovan, and between Sis Moodie and Sis Brown they used to cook for him and spoil him. A few weeks ago during our “Culture night” at church, Sis Moodie called me to her side, as she sat against the wall in the gym. She asked me if I like “Solomon Gundy ”? I asked who that was, and we laughed. She made me get a plate with dry crackers and Solomon Gundy to bring home for Donovan. That’s who she was to me. Someone who Always always thought of others. That was the last time I saw her, and I will cherish the funny moment we spent together with Solomon Gundy! Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
