Sending my deepest condolences to Bishop Mullings’ family and friends. He was my Bishop throughout my early years in church and I give God thanks that I was privileged to have him as a part of my life. He was a humble and strong leader, and I learned a lot from him. I’ll never forget him and he left a long lasting legacy. Sleep well my Bishop and I love you.

My grandpa is a unique person. He marched to the beat of his own drum and he is what we call today a co-creator.
He is very good at what he does.
Knowing what I know about him, it only makes sense that he would marry my grandmother, who is equally skilled at being a co-creator, and together they created a rainbow of people who
serve their communities the best way they can; and who makes the world a little more richer and a little bit brighter for generations to come.
What gave away Grandpa's uniqueness were the stories I heard of how he met my grandmother. At least that was in the beginning. But I didn't realize just how unique he is until I asked him how come he chose to become a Zionist instead of Pentecostal. And after blasting me for not asking him before I got baptized, he said Spirit lead him. The story sounds common, but the point I'm trying to make is that if you have faith in what you're doing it doesn't matter what it looks like to others. You might not know why you're doing it, and you might be confused, feel like you're in the dark. But there's always a benefit and the biggest one is forever to the generations. The last significant thing I remember Grandpa doing was running for mayor. He didn't win, but that's not the point. The point is he is so good at being co-creator he created a new possibility for the descendants of the Mullings tree. Can you imagine one of us being Mayor?
Thank you Grandpa for being a trailblazer for this generation. Thank you for allowing me to give you a manicure and pedicure. I will always remember the sound of your voice and your last 2 words you said to me as you gripped my hand goodbye: Thanks.
Amerie Gabriel and I love you and are happy and grateful to have you as our latest ancestor.

Thank you for receiving my request to open communication with you again. It's been a long time but we are both happy to have had that talk. I love you. And thank you for sending that message once I got the news that you had left. You gave me peace and comfort. Till we meet again.
