In Loving Memory of Errol Earl Rerrie

Errol Earl Rerrie, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 27, 2023, at the age of 78. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, on February 4, 1945, Errol leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and community spirit.

In 1967, Errol immigrated to Canada, where he built a strong and loving legacy. He is survived by the mother of his children, Joyce Rerrie, and their four children: Micheal, Richard, Kevin, and Elizabeth .

Errol was a cherished grandfather to the eleven grandchildren: Trinity, Tyson, Rylan,  Korey, Malcolm, Myles,  Sosina.

Errol is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Rerrie (Brown) and Edward Rerrie.

Errol is survived by his siblings: Lester, Jean (Shirley), Valerie, Vivienne, Dalton, Dennis, Marie, and Lloyd.

He is also remembered by his aunt, Gloria Rerrie-Chang.

Known for his friendly demeanor, Errol was a familiar face in the community. Often found on his porch with a cup of coffee in hand, he greeted neighbors and passersby with a warm smile. Errol took pride in his community, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and valued.

Beyond his warm exterior, Errol was also known for being protective of the ones he loved. He made every effort to look after their well-being, embodying a sense of care and devotion that endeared him to family and friends alike.

Errol's family invites friends and well-wishers to join them in celebrating his life. A viewing will be held on November 20th from 4 pm to 8 pm at New Haven Funeral Centre Inc., located at 7025 Legion Rd., Mississauga, ON, L4T 1A8.

The funeral service will take place on November 21st at 10 am at Holy Name Parish, 71 Gough Ave, Toronto, ON, M4K 3N9.

Errol will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, warmth, and protective spirit.
