I have known Horace for almost my whole life. My father Paul Introduced us and from there we became friends. He was like an Uncle to me, He attended my wedding where we joked about being on time , not Jamaican time, even though I was the one that was late. He would make sure I was ok in the plant and even though we hadn't talked in a while he still checked on me. He will be greatly missed . My thoughts and Prayers are with all his family and friends. Having worked with Horace during the 90's, we became friends and then he joined the skill trades' group. He was very proud of his kids and said so often. I was saddened when told that Horace had died. My condolences to his family. I am sorry for your loss.

Seb having studied with you at Sheridan College, one thing the Crew knew was that "you had a great Dad". The manner in which you spoke about him spoke volumes. From our many conversations, we knew that he had a great sense of humour. I still recall how he enjoyed my play “Front Room” at the Science Center. My condolences to the Smellie family. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Horace (cousin Bunny) and his beautiful family. I enjoyed your hospitality and the chance to get to know more of my extended family. In addition to Horace's wonderful, warm and humorous personality I shared his apparent love of music. I always knew my cousin Horace as Bunny. He was my mother’s cousin but closer to our age. Our children were the very same age and he would bring them to visit whenever I was over from England, take videos and fill my Mum’s house with laughter. Horace was a lovely person..very friendly, funny, kind and humble.
I met him in 2012 through his friends here in Jamaica and we shared some memorable time together.
Words cannot express how we are feeling right now.
When he was leaving Jamaica recently he hugged me and said " Vern I will see you at Christmas.

Horace affectionately called Bunny will be sadly missed. This was a genuine family man, he really cared about people. He went about touching the lives of human beings. He displayed excellent interpersonal skills and this enabled him to form a bond with just about everyone he came in contact with. Bunny its so hard to say goodbye. My first memory of you was at the tender age of 12. You gave me a great pick up line that I’ll never forget. But because I’m a man I won’t share it here. We both know it though ;-) . Thx for everything. Last time I saw you I wanted to tell you how much I love you. But knowing you you would say “Listen Tony I don’t swing that way ok buddy” lol.
