Obituary of Claude Owen Laing

Claude Laing, of North York, died on January 26, 2024, at the Downsview Long Term Care Centre, at the age of 71.  Claude was the loving father to his two sons Kingsley (Dwayne) and Shamar Laing.  He was also the proud grandfather of his 3 grandchildren. 

Born on September 30, 1952, to Aman & Imogene Laing in Kingston, Jamaica.  Claude is survived by his siblings; Dorrant, Annette, Lizzy and Cleve also known as Stitchie, and sadly four of his siblings have predeceased him.  

Claude worked as a general labourer for most of his life, and also had a hobby of freestyling to reggae and gospel soundtracks. He was an avid Nollywood fan and enjoyed listening to gospel and reggae music.
