From the moment I met Ms Wilson she showed me nothing but hospitality and welcomed me into her home with love and kindness. Amongst the many memorable and sweet moments with her, I will never forget when she told me I can accomplish so many things by keeping positive and putting my best foot forward. Although our time together was short , I am honoured to have been able to experience and meet such a gracious , nurturing and warmhearted person. Thank you. You are a beacon of light that will never fade.

I am an instructor in the Masters of Teaching program. Georgia was a colleague to many of my students who have shared with me their sadness at her passing. I want to send my deepest condolences to her family, especially her children, and to my students who will miss her very much.

Georgia was a dear friend of mine. We grew up together and went to school together. I am grateful to have known her. Her children are amazing young people. Brianna and Darren you are loved . Georgia you were bigger than life itself. You were stronger than most people I know. Your courage is that of a lion. You were a fighter in life and I'm so sorry to hear that you left us so soon. God has got you. Watch over your children and all those who you mentor. Love you . Your old friend Carla Wallen
