Obituary of Harold Roy Clarke

Harold Roy Clarke (Clarkey), a devoted family man and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Harold's life was defined by his deep love for his children and grandchildren. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family and creating cherished memories. His deep love was a source of strength and comfort for all who knew him. Harold loved every moment spent with his grandchildren, guiding and supporting them with a loving heart. His role as a father and grandfather extended beyond blood, as others also looked up to him as a dad and grandpa, benefiting from his warmth and love.

Born in Clarendon, Jamaica, Harold came to Canada as a young man and poured his heart into building a life that provided security and happiness for his loved ones. His tireless work ethic and determination were evident in every aspect of his life.  Clarkey had a passion for soccer and treasured the moments he shared with his teammates. The friendships he formed on the field were lifelong, and he was known for his humorous spirit, always laughing and running jokes. His love for the game and his friends was a testament to his joyful approach to life.  As a supportive friend, amazing brother, uncle, and godfather, Harold was always there with a kind word or a helping hand. His generosity, kindness, and loyalty makes him unforgettable and a source of strength for those around him.

Harold's legacy is one of profound love, and hard work. He leaves behind a family that will continue to honour his memory by living the values he taught them. He will be deeply missed by his children, sister, brother, grandchildren, niece, extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Harold's life will be held where friends and family will gather to honour and remember a man who loved so deeply and gave so generously.
