My deepest Condolences to the Amadi Family. I had the priviledge of working with Philip and even a greater priviledge to know him as a friend. Over the years at Mettler-Toledo we spoke and shared life experiences about work, politics, food, history, family. He was very intelligent, funny, dedicted and well rounded in many aspects of life. We shared many moments of laughter and I believe that is what he enjoyed the most. Philip was a proud man, and this pride arose from his deep love for his daughter. He cherished her and would brag at times knowing she would achieve great things. The hope and light of my friend is within the prayer by St. Francis of Assisi Make me an instrument of your peace, where ther is injury, pardon where there is doubt, faith where there is despair, hope where there is darkness, light where there is sadness, joy with humble heartfelt sympathy Dan De Paola
