With profound sadness, I give my condolences for the passing of my friend Eddie Burnett. I first met Eddie in 1983, working together, along with Tony Johnson and many others, at Eurika Coach. Eddie taught me the trade, and was very supportive in so many other ways in my early years in Canada as a refugee.
Eddie’s kind-heartedness and great sense of humour made him so many friends within the auto industry all across the GTA, especially in the Guyanese community.
Eddie’s bright smile and joyous laugh will surely be missed by all of us at Jay’s Autobody & Repairs. Our sincerest condolences to Simon, Nicholas and the rest of the family. May god continue to give you strength and comfort during this dark time. Rest in Peace my friend.

This one really hit me for 6...
I got.to know Eddie since coming to Canada and can't exactly pinpoint when we met but it was through business and Bishop.
It was always a pleasure meeting up to do some business and was through those conversations I learned of him growing up in England.
He was also very knowledgeable about motors and well connected so would put me in touch with the right people in Brampton.
His passing came as such a shock and thought it must of been in error as he had recently seen me and we was talking about things he was going to strengthen his body.
Eddie was such a great guy who l really enjoyed being around and no doubt he is missed.
My prayers and condolences go.out to Simon and the rest of the family.

Edward Alexander Burnett, a brother , a friend and a father who loved his family. My brother went to England as a teenager, I think I was about 10 years old at the time . Eddie had a great sense of humor, and always had something to say on many topics. He introduced me to guitar when I was about 10 years old at 103 Hanover Rd, London England. The lesson didn't last long but it inspired me to pursue music as a passion of mine up to this very day. Rest in peace my dear brother. Osb. & Paulette

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the family on the passing of their beloved. He was greatly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
I’m so sorry that I didn’t get the chance to meet my cousin but I can remember my older brothers and sisters speaking fondly of him when he was living in Jamaica. They spoke of the times when he would visit our house and they would visit him when he was living with our aunt.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. He is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ reunited with his mom and dad uncle Rueben.

It is with deep sadness that we have to say goodbye to our beloved Uncle Eddie - Marcus and I will remember is infectious laughter, ability to make everyone in his presence feel loved, and spectacular way of being kind, to all he met.
I had the pleasure of meeting my uncle Eddie at an older age, he would get me in his car and ask immediately, if I was hungry or needed anything. We would then take off to a Jamaican restaurant where every single person that entered, knew him by name - that was a blessing on it's own. Uncle Eddie was one of a kind, and we all knew it!
My son Marcus, met him at a very young age. Marcus was a super shy little boy and didn't take well to most people, within an hour, he was sitting on Uncle Eddie's lap, laughing and falling in love like the rest of us did.
You were the best of the best! As you walked through Heavens gates, I know my beloved Grandmother was awaiting you, what a reunion that must of been.
You will be missed.
All our love,
Erica Lewis-Baird and Marcus Edward Nich
