Our sincere condolences to the family of Myrol.
We were very sad to learn the demise of our dear friend of many years - MYROL. He was unique, godly, amiable and clothed with humility and compassion.
He related with my children like his and was always asking after them right from their younger days even till now that they are adults. Infact, he apologized profusely for not being able to attend our son's wedding on October 7th, 2024.
He purposefully mastered strength two weeks after to come to church with a gift for my wedded son. That's who Myrol was.
We are grateful to God for the opportunity to know Him and his family. Sweet is the remembrance of the righteousness, the memory of the just is blessed (Prov. 10:7).
We pray that God will comfort his family and his loved ones. You will forever be in our memories. Continue to rest in the bossom of your maker.
The Olukunle-Ojos.

On behalf of my wife, our children and friends I express our heartfelt condolences to Lorna and the entire family for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Myrol was a big brother, a great and loving friend to our families at KRT.
Words are inadequate in expressing the grief and sorrow for this loss.
Our friends continue to remind me of his presence at our daughter's wedding few years ago when he and Lorna were celebrated for being the oldest couple in the gathering. His words of wisdom and advise to the couple still linger on.
We know you are in a better place now and we rejoice solely in the hope that we shall meet again some day.
1 Thes 4:13-14 "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not
grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."
Gone, but never far from our hearts. Deepest sympathy for your loss.

There are no words to express this profound loss. Myrol was a friend, mentor, combatant (as we liked to argue with one another), and most importantly, a man of God.
I am both grateful and thankful for the times I've shared with Myrol. He was humble, committed, and a faithful servant to those around him, his church, and the greater community.
I will truly miss you my friend.

Condolences to the family. It was very sad to learn of Myrol’s passing. Myrol was such a gentle person, so easy to talk to. He always had a smile and a kind word. Myrol and I volunteered at Regeneration for a number of years. He was very well liked and respected by everyone. Dear Myrol May your soul rest in peace and the perpetual light shine upon you for evermore.

To Lorna, his children, and grandchildren, Myrol siblings: Stella, Relinda, Althea, Eddie and Margaret. The Ottley family both in Canada and Trinidad join me in extending our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Myrol, a man like no other. To me and my siblings he was my godfather, but he played a pivotal father figure role in all out lives over the 60+ years of knowing him and his siblings. I pray that God will embrace the Parsons families with his continuous love, strength and compassion as we all celebrate the passing of this indomitable man. This has been a bittersweet time filled with challenges and sadness for all, but as a people who know and love God, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to love and be loved by a man like no other, Myrol Valentine Parsons who will forever live in our hearts and memories. As we grieve we must remember that in order to ascend to heaven we must depart this physical world. The time of departure is always like a thief in the night, but our comfort comes when we know that our loved one is free from pain and is in the bosom of our lord. A life well lived, 13th August 1943 - 29th December 2024, Myrol has fulfilled his journey here on earth and the lord said, it is time to come home. MVP, RIP. It may not seem nor feel like a Happy New Year, but 2025 is here and we should keep the faith and keep courage as only God knows.
From JoAnn and the rest of the Ottley family. Peace, togetherness and love

I am so sorry to hear of Myrol's passing. I knew and served with him when I was attending Kennedy Road Tabernacle a few years ago.
Myrol was such a Godly person. He would always have a word of encouragement for you. He was friendly and easy to talk with. He was truly a servant of God.
May the warm, comforting arms of Jesus continue to comfort his family.
While we mourn his loss we do not mourn as people without hope.

It is with deep sadness to learn of the passing of Myrol Parsons. I would like to convey our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Parsons family and friends. I want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God continue to comfort and strengthen you at this time of your grief and loss. May He give you His Everlasting Peace. I've had the pleasure of meeting and got acquainted with Myrol at KRT over 20 +years ago, and He's one of the most genuine person I've ever met. If I may put a label to him, he is the epitome of Galatians 5 :22-23. He displays the fruit of the spirit, which is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, goodness and Faithfulness. Rest in peace bro Myrol.

I am saddened to learn of Myrol's passing. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. I first met Myrol when I walked into KRT seeking, what I didnt know at the time. His warm welcome and kind smile made me feel at home right away. I got to know him more as we volunteered for 'Alpha in the Community', an Outreach ministry of KRT some years ago. I worked more closely with him as the staff person for Regeneration Outreach Community where Myrol faithfully volunteered on Wednesdays and even more when he served on Regen's Board of Directors. In Myrol we saw the fruits of the spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, lived out through his service to Christ. Myrol will be missed and remembered by me and the many who had the privilege of knowing him

So saddened and shocked to hear of your passing. I grew up at KRT, and Uncle Myrol was my first friend there as a child. Every Sunday for the past 20 years I've looked forward to his warm and welcoming smile, genuine hugs and our quick catch-ups. It was hard to imagine a time where he would no longer be there. My heart breaks for the Parsons family. I pray that God wraps his arms around you all and comforts and consoles you. I pray that you experience divine peace, knowing that his memory and legacy lives on.

I came to know Myrol during my time as minister of Grace United Church, Brampton where we encountered one another in the work of Regeneration Outreach. Myrol was a tireless worker and we enjoyed much joyful conversation as we got to know one another. I served with Myrol at the Regeneration Outreach Board table for many years. Myrol was always such a positive influence in all of the encounters we shared. A great man of faith, hope, and love! Rev. Ross Leckie
