In Loving Memory of Raymond Foster
It is with a heavy heart that I take a moment to reflect on the incredible life journey of my dear friend, Raymond Foster. As I sit down to write this memorandum, I am still struggling to come to terms with his passing. Raymond's big heart, warm personality, and infectious smile have left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he touched.
I am honoured to have had the privilege of working alongside Raymond as part of a team that shared a common passion for empowering families and making a positive impact in our community. Together, we have witnessed countless moments of transformation, growth, and resilience. Raymond's unwavering dedication, compassion, and generosity of spirit were the driving forces behind our collective success.
Through his life's work, Raymond has inspired countless individuals and families to strive for excellence, to believe in themselves, and to never give up on their dreams. His legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he has touched, and the memories we shared with him will remain etched in our hearts forever.
As I bid farewell to my dear friend, I take comfort in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide us, inspiring us to carry on his remarkable work. Sleep in eternal peace, dear Raymond. You will be deeply missed, but your impact on our lives will never be forgotten.
To Raymond's family, I extend my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May you find strength and comfort in the love and memories you shared with him. May his legacy continue to inspire and guide you in the days ahead.
Rest in peace, my friend.

January 1, I prayed for God protection over family and friends. God was just looking at me smiling knowing that he was calling a very good friend of mine home away from this unfair world. I have known Raymond over a decade ago, he was nothing but a blessing to any one that happened to come across to him. Raymond was a good friend and a brother to me and my family. This is one of the worst news I ever received, my dear friend and brother. You are at peace now , no more worries. My prayers goes to his family and friends that the Lord will comfort you all in Jesus name.

Mr. Raymond was truly a blessing to know and I am grateful to have had the opportunity. I am utterly devastated to hear the news of his untimely passing. My family’s relationship with Raymond began more than a decade ago when we were looking to purchase a house. Raymond had an infectious, fun personality and a speciality for making people smile, laugh, and feel welcome. We kept in touch for over a decade to which a friendship was formed.
One Short Story: This previous summer we entrusted Raymond to sell our house, it was an easy decision which required no thought. During his first visit to the house, we mentioned that there was a plumbing issue and he did not hesitate to get his hands dirty to try and fix the issue. Without us even asking and although we told him many times not to trouble himself, he took the job upon himself, dressed in a tailored suit on his hands and knees on our bathroom floor (with water spraying everywhere). This is just one example of the type of man he was, an example for us all. My heart goes out to his family and I hope they take peace in knowing how loved he was and is. It’s clear that he was a pillar in his community. Mr. Raymond, it was truly a pleasure to know you, even for a short while. Miss you already.
Rest peacefully xx
With love,
Lily Asaolu.

My condolences to the family. So Sad to see you go. I always admire you growing up. You didn't change much. So glad I was able to spend some time with you on one of my visits to Canada. We talked about the good old days growing up in Jamaica. I hope to meet you on the other side. From your cousin Joan

As a past staff of Hearts in Bloom our church daycare I remember how committed Bro.Raymond was to stopping by just to check on things. Our supervisor would wonder if someone called him and he would reply no I'm on a break from work so I decided to stop by. We will miss him as a church brother and a committed member of the church and daycare boards! We will miss his bright and pleasant smile! Praying for the family that the lord will bring them peace and comfort! Blessings Telleacia Rhodes

My sincere and deepest condolences to the Foster family. I was in total shock when I learnt of Raymond's passing.
I also knew Raymond from childhood days. We were also neighbors, and I often went to his house to play with his sisters as I did not have any of my own.
I also enjoyed many summer school programs at his father's church which was right beside his house. It was a moment in history when we reconnected in Canada at one of our favorite events "Knox pass student association gala".
This is a big lost to our community. He will be greatly missed.
May his soul rest in peace.

God in his wisdom has decided that Raymond has completed his assignment. My last conversation with Raymond was at 10:14AM on Jan 1st, when he sent me a personalized Happy New Year. Raymond was not just my realtor and church brother, he became a friend who my family could call on when we needed help. Always smiling and having a great time at a party, church or a simple BBQ. He was fun to be with. My birthday celebration won’t be the same without him.
My condolences to his family especially his children. He never missed a moment to talk about them.

This came as such a shock to me. I have known Raymond since I was a child growing up in Manchester Jamaica. His family and mine often getting together for church functions. We went to Knox together and reconnected in Toronto Canada where the friendship continued. It is because of his persistence and support that i was able to purchase my first home. He was so helpful; often going above and beyond to help fix something or connect me with the professionals in his vast network. He will certainly be missed. My deepest condolences to his family who I join in mourning this great loss. I am reassured however that he is safely in the arms of Jesus and one day we will meet again.

I’m at a loss for words. My sincerest condolences to his family, especially his kids. I met Raymond many years ago at Praise, who became a brother I grew to respect. He was always smiling, encouraging and I enjoyed his sense of humour and laughter. His suits and cologne were always on point at church. He assisted me with two home purchases and made sure to drop off a bottle of wine and his Remax calendar every Christmas. My mom would always cut him some black cake which he loved. Even after I left Praise, he would reach out to make sure all was well. Very respectful and genuine. Brother Raymond you are missed and I pray God’s strength for his family, church family clients and friends. It’s a tough one but we trust God in all things. Rest in peace Raymond and thank you for your friendship.

My heart really breaks thinking of Raymond's passing. I still can remember his laugh and cheerful countenance. I met Raymond through Pastor Vernon upon being a newbie to Canada wanting to buy a house. He quickly became a friend, as his intention was not just to sell me a property, but to help me understand the best options available for me to take as a newcomer. He was always patient and friendly, quick to run a joke to lighten the mood even in stressful situations. Raymond was a good man, a godly man, and will be greatly missed by all the lives he has touched in his time with us. Rest in Peace Raymond... My deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, church and community at large... May God's peace surround you at this time.

It's with deepest regret that I share on this obituary Raymond and I commence our journey as brothers ( not by blood) over 30 years ago and it was that way until the very end .Raymond gave selflessly to mankind, a great father and provider and most importantly a man who gave unlimited service way above and beyond to his Church and in building the Kingdom here on earth. For me and my family it's not just death but a great void in our lives as he was very close to my family .My three year old granddaughter will not have the privilege again of saying her many times practiced grace at the dinner table for her beloved Uncle Raymond , but we know that he who holds the future , holds our hands , and it's predestinated, by God almighty that we will all meet again .Rest easy my brother.

Poem Written by Colin Jones: A New Angel in the Sky**
In twilight hues where soft winds sigh,
A gentle soul has taken flight,
Raymond, George Foster, a name we cherish,
Now dances among the stars so bright.
With laughter that once lit our days,
And wisdom wrapped in kind embrace,
You've ventured forth on celestial ways,
Leaving behind a warm, loving trace.
The hearts you touched, the lives you changed,
Remember you with love unfeigned,
In every whisper of the trees,
In every sunset’s golden breeze.
And though your form is now unseen,
Your spirit sparkles in the night,
A guiding star for those you’ve gleaned,
A beacon of eternal light.
So when we gaze at the vast expanse,
And ponder life’s profound design,
We’ll see you twirl in a cosmic dance,
Our dear angel, forever divine.
Rest easy in the heavens high,
With wings of grace, you’ve learned to fly,
Raymond, George Foster, our loving guide,
In our hearts, you’ll eternally reside.
