Dearest Eva, losing you has been hard to accept. I hope you will have fewer ailments where you are now than when we had time together. All too short and enjoyable.
On behalf of our Creative Writers Group I must tell you they are all heartbroken that you left us so suddenly. Not only will they miss you but they will miss your tantalizing stories. Love from all of us.

On behalf of the Dominica Convent High School Alumni of Ontario, I convey heartfelt condolences to the family. Many of us had the privilege to enjoy the friendship of Eva from her school days. Her kindness, love and beauty will not be forgotten. Personally, I always enjoyed reading the following message, inscribed in red, below her e-mails.
"Life is a passage....We begin and we end. What we do in between depends on us individually. What we choose, lives with us always, do unto others as you would have them do to you."
Eva, Rest in Peace .
Francine Harris, President DCHSAO

So sad to see Eva go. A beautiful girl and best friend of my husband Dennis.
He is waiting for you up there, Eva.
You two have so much to catch up on.
I will miss you too as we never got to have that visit we had planned.
To The Family
Time will heal but the memories and laughter will last forever

What can I say about my hip, crazy, thoughtful, charismatic, generous, supportive, fiercely protective, devoted, uplifting, sincere, warm, humourous, gorgeous Aunt, sister to my father? mmm.. let me think about it.
Eva, aka Pamcy (known only to the adults) always made sure that you were taken care of before her. If you were invited to her home, she would give you her last ice in the freezer; her last piece of bread; her last sip of whatever she was drinking, always making sure you were never left wanting. Ask her if she ate and she would say 'later'. She would always slip some money to the young kids and tell them 'sshhh'.
There isn't enough room here to expound so I will just say she will be missed tremendously. She is now with her sisters and brothers looking down on us to make sure we knew we were loved.
