I would like to leave my condolences to the family. I am a close friend of Christopher’s sister. I pray God may bless and keep you all comforted during your time of bereavement. Christopher was a student of mine for several years while he was in high school at Weston C.I. We had a strong student-teacher connection and I adored having him in my class. He was the kid everyone would go to if they had something troubling them because even in grade 9 he was such an empathetic listener and had beautiful insight into people and their ways. He had a real streak of mischief in him, and school wasn’t his favourite thing, but he was also always kind and respectful. His smile could light up the whole room. As his drama teacher I really got to see him shine - he always had one of the top marks in my class. Even though he was often quiet and even shy, he had this amazing intensity and vulnerability on stage that left everyone speechless. He didn’t talk much, but when he did, everyone stopped to listen. During the year I didn’t get to teach him he would still come by to say hi and he always put a smile on my face. The last time I saw him was a few years after he left Weston. He came by to say hi and catch up a little. He gave me the warmest hug. It was a rough time in my own life and our conversation had me smiling for days. I wept when I found out what happened, and have cried every day since. My deepest sympathies to everyone impacted by this tragic loss - especially the family. I will see you at the visitation on the 19th.

My sweet angel .. This is like a terrible nightmare that I hope to wake up from. I’ll never forget how many years I was blessed with having you in my life. We been through so much and those memories will always be in my heart.
