Uncle you see you and Dad are unbreakable, He always want to make sure he got your back; i know the two of you are unstoppable were you are now. You stood up for me at my gr. 8 confirmation and had my back when you where needed you were there no matter what you made time true talks. Please watch his back for me; which i know you will and he will do the same no question. I LOVE YOU BOTH DEARLY.

I am so sorry for your loss Latoya, in the space of three months you have lost the two most important male figures in your life. Take solace in knowing that you had a great relationship with your dad and that there are memories embedded in your mind and heart that no one can take away and will live on forever.
I remember being seventeen and needing extra driving practice and your dad was kind and patient enough to offer to give me driving lessons. Your dad was indeed a joker, self proclaimed dancer and a good man! It’s all those thoughts that I transfer over to you from my memory bank of your dad.
My condolences to you and the rest of the family.
May your soul Rest In Peace Frank!!

As I woke up this morning I prayed to God, and then I spoke to you. But I couldn't hear you because in reality you're not here. I was suppose to be with you today, but instead I was just going through photos with smiles on my face which turned into painful tears. My mom held me in her arms as I cried and cried. I start to hear your voice in my mind saying "Toya, daddy's here, it'll be ok". But really, will it be? Will i ever go back to being the same? I know that no one can come between the bond we have, in life and death. You were taken way too soon, but you left me with so much great memories to look back on until we meet again. Your grandson and I miss you and love you. Happy Father's Day daddy. ❤

I don't exactly know how to put into words just how great of a guy and how much of an impact Sleepy had on me.
I will try, but I don't think it will do him justice.
I was 20, fresh out of college for radio broadcasting with no luck so far getting a job in the industry.
So, I tried working in stores but just couldn't do it.
Since I was in middle school I had developed a love for horses and really took that passion to the next step in 2011 and on.
Anyhow, since I couldn't get a job in radio, I came to woodbine in 2017.
After working for a middle of the pack trainer, I was given a chance I could only dream of. The chance to work for a big trainer. That trainer would be Kevin Attard.
With little experience working for a big name trainer and with a fairly well-established crew working for Mr. Attard, being accepted was not always easy.
Frank (aka Sleepy) accepted me from day one. He broke me in. He taught me the routine. He introduced me to the guys. He taught me the right way to walk a horse, how to do buckets, how to act and not act around the barn and with certain people, how to clean up to the bosses liking, and that was just the start of our friendship.
From there, as anyone will tell you, whenever you saw Sleepy in the morning, you knew it was gonna be a good day, even if the day was to start by putting out hay and straw, Sleepy would wake up at 3 to feed and then somehow still be cheery enough to make jokes and make me laugh while putting out hay and straw at 4:30 in the morning.
Still, my friendship with sleepy extended far beyond what he taught me and the way he made everyone including me laugh and love to come to the barn early in the morning.
As the new guy, the inexperienced guy, I was bound to face criticism and some nagging from coworkers, and I can honestly say, from day one, even when he barely knew me, Sleepy was right there to have confidence in me and to defend me if I needed it.
The legend still doesn't stop there. On race days Sleepy was THE man that walked horses after races.
After some time, I would be given the privilege of joining alongside Sleepy in that pursuit, something in which again, whether at the test barn or at home base, there was never a dull moment.
I've touched mainly on the working impact of my good friend, Frank "Sleepy" Forde, but I want to talk about the after work guy that Sleepy was.
On big races, stake races, you could often find Sleepy and I competing for best dressed, him in his white suit, white top hat, and gloves, and me in my Navy Blue suit. He usually won the competition! That's why he was the original sharp dressed man, a role in which I hope to make him proud in filling.
This winter while I was working in Florida, Sleepy called me a few times to see how I was doing. When I was in the 14 day isolation, he also called me to joke around and see how I was doing, and even as recently as June 2nd he called to get me set up in a dorm room. One could never get tired of that voice and that laugh!!
Just one more thing I'll say, other than to say he was a legend and friend to all. Sleepy threw some of the best, the most epic parties ever at the barn. He would order food from this amazing lady, have the beer and white rum running (pops for those who didn't drink), music blasting, and have everybody laughing and dancing, though nobody could beat Sleepys dance moves as hard as they may try.
Sleepy, I never did learn why that was your nickname, other than you were up so early and worked so late and hard that you must have always been exhausted, but you were such an amazing guy, who impacted so many lives and people in so many ways, that I really do hope you have a most peaceful sleep Sleepy.
We all miss you big guy.
