As I reflect on the memory of my dear uncle Alan George Edwards the scripture that comes to mind is Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4 (KJV): To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. Uncle Levy's passing caught us as a surprise, but God has a purpose and know what's best. As we go through this season as a family, let us reflect on the time of his birth until death. As we weep today let us remember the times we laughed and dance with him together. I last saw Uncle face to face in 2008 but hardly a month went by that we didn't speak. I'm going to miss those long talk we had on the phone that bind us together like father and son. On that day when Uncle passed was a big day for me, I had so much to share with him about the day "Uncle your love will remain with me forever for love itself lives on, and the cherished memories will never fade because you are gone. I love you Uncle, I am going to miss you now that you are gone.
