My thoughts and prayers Grandma go out to your family in their time of this sudden loss. I will not be sad, because I know you lived a wonderful life and raised a lovely family. Upon hearing the news my thoughts reflected on the time when I met you and Syl and sat around the kitchen table and chatted. I will celebrate the time spent with you and miss your soup. My heart goes out to your entire family and Kyra, I know she will ache for your company for a very long time. My heart goes out to the Douglas family and everyone who loved grandma. In this life we meet several people some we forget and some we will never forget. “Mama “ as we lovingly call her will never be forgotten. She is really one of a kind. She is classy, kind, loving , caring and someone you really want to be your mother. Mama, we love you and will always miss you but now we know you are in heaven waiting for us to all be reunited one day. Rest In Peace! Love Joy and Vernon.

Mrs. Douglas was the Matriarch of the Douglas family. Almost everything revolved around her. She was a pillar of strength when anyone was feeling weak. When you were hungry she would feed you first. If you fell, she would reach out a hand of support. She was always a pleasure to be around, bringing light and Love into a room. Mrs. Douglas will be Greatly missed. Our most sincere condolences go out to the family. Thank you The Griffith Family

I have had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful, kind woman. I was young, staying by my aunt's and she along with her husband were visiting, she brought gifts for her grandchildren, but having only met me for the first time she was unprepared in gifting me, so she gave me her personal tub of cocoa butter. I was surprised and grateful to her for acknowledging my presence. A beautiful memory of her. R.I.P. kind lady.
