My condolences to you and your family, Simonne. I hope you are holding up well, partner. I was able to attend the virtual funeral and was very touched by your eloquent words. You did an incredible job letting us all know how special your Mom was. And you're not wrong. Everyone at MOH who worked with Sonia knew her to be a kind, unique and generous soul. She always had a smile on her face and was full of warmth and grace. It was a blessing to have had her in our lives.

Aunty, I know you are in a better place. It hurts to say I wish I could've, would've, and should've been there to talk to you. To hold your hand while I look into your eyes, have those jokes we use to, play around with you and make you smile, having those last moments with you is all I wanted. However I was told you fought a good fight, your now with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Barbara, and all the other family and friends. May you sleep in eternal peace till we all meet again. Please send your ray of sunshine down on me and always provide your protection over all of us. May you give Simone the strength to be that foundation for the rest of her family and to uphold to the best of her ability. We will celebrate your life aunty with a joyful noise and singing.
