God holds the key to all unknown and I am glad if other hands should hold the key or if he trusted it to me I guarantee that Chandi would be alive. God in his infinite wisdom determined to take him to himself without causing him to suffer. I in my selfish human heart would have preferred to bathe and feed him yet I have come to the point where I have yielded all to Him whose eye is on the sparrow. I will weep for Chandi, bawl for Chandi and mourn for Chandi but not as one without hope. Simply as the aunt who loved him with all his imperfections because he loved her the same way. We shared one heart and God has now taken the better half. Go in peace and may the God of peace keep you. I love you to infinity and now beyond.

This day was one of my best days of my life. Not only did I graduated from High School, but almost all of my family members came to see me get my diploma, including you Chandi. I remember that day that you had a tear in your eye because you saw me grow up get my education. A promise that I made back in Canada. I remember this day because this was the last time I saw you face to face. After 2 weeks I still cannot believe your gone. There are times that I still have moments where I feel empty knowing that you're not here anymore. But I can't let your death effects what I'm doing. Because I made a promise to you I will get my driver's license, that I will save my money, and become a man so I can benefit me but also my family. And you're up there watching me trying to achieve these goals. I promise to do it I will do what I have to do. This moment and the moments that we had will be in my heart forever. I miss you I'm not going to forget you. What you have show me during my life, is the same thing that I'm going to show my little cousins or child. And the thing is dude, you was like a father to me. And I have to say thank you for being there for me. Love you man. Rest in peace and rest in power.

Chandi was my first born child/son. Was heart broken when I received the following up call from his mother that Chandi didn’t make it. Wasn’t expecting this ending but God knows best. It’s so hard coming 5 months after the passing of my mother.
Chandi was a very loving child. I remember his summer visits to NY when school in Canada was on vacation.
Chandi will be missed by his siblings, grandfather, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
The most sad thing is covid 19 making it impossible to be there in person one last time.
Chandi I love you and may your soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

On hearing of the passing of our precious nephew I was heartbroken. We have shared some fond memories that are etched in my memory bank. His embrace was always strong and warm; his words of “love you UncleChris” was deeply felt every time. As a baby, it was a pleasure to hear his hearty laughter as we tickled him under his arms. My wife Sandra and our children and grandchildren mourn his loss and like Job in the scriptures question God, but we rest in God as he comforts us for he knows best. May God strengthen his mother Shirley and father Mervyn and families as we mourn at this time. We will always love you Chandi and will forever hold those fond memories of you close to our hearts. Gone too soon, you can never be forgotten! Reston perpetual peace!
