I have just today learned of Lorna's passing. Lorna was a gentle and extremely competent caregiver for my wife. When she stopped coming in suddenly we wondered and worried. Now I know she is resting with the Lord. Thank you Lorna for your care and genuine caring and for your sense of humour. Edward Smith

In a chapel far away A lonely person sits to pray The world goes on without a stay And all I want is yesterday No tears can make the sun appear No words can take the pain away The birds can’t sing a song of joy The sky can’t make the past appear For yesterday I lost a friend No greater loss can there have been Her smiling face and gentle grace She made this world a better place It is for loss I cry today A loss most felt in every way We had her here a little while She lived, she loved, she made us smile In a chapel far away A lonely person sits to pray Memories of those happy times May one day they come back to stay Rest in peace Lorna, Cathy Omand

My deepest condolences to Lorna's family. It is with a heavy heart that I learned the news of Lorna's passing. Lorna was a wonderful person, who gave tirelessly of herself to help others. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. I will always treasure my memories of Lorna; her kind heart, her gentle ways, and her sense of humour. Lorna and my mum were kindred spirits. With my mum's passing last August, I hope they are having tea together, enjoying a chat and smiling. Rest in peace Lorna, We will miss you, Shelley Omand
