Auntie Janet you are a sweet and kind soul ❤️!
A beautiful, loving, kind and generous woman who opened her heart to many and her home to even more. You showed your love for family and brought our family together for many years. Always putting others before yourself. There will never be another Auntie Janet. I can only hope the Lord sees your heart & your loving kindness when you passed from this life into eternity.
Rest In Peace

Dear God, I am so grateful that you have made us all in your own image, giving us gifts and talents with which to serve you. As Janet did through her kindness and always demonstrated love to those around her. Thank you for Janets' life, and all the years we shared with her. I lift her to you today, in honour of the good we saw in her and the love we felt from her.
Comfort Janet's mom, papa and family, her sons Jerran and Vonte' and their Dad- Earl, and all who loved her in their time of grief and loss. Cover them with your peace and presence as only your Holy Spirit can do. In Jesus name-Amen.
Janet- truly you have been a blessing, I will deeply miss you. Until we meet again my friend in our Heavenly Home.
Peace and love!
- Avril

Dearest Janet
You were so much more than just an aunt
Our three sons were inseparable for most of their childhood
You were loving , caring , adventurous, funny ,kind and genuine. The sleepovers, the barbeques, the trip to Cuba with my son. Your caring spirit lives on through your children .you helped to raise to fine young men.
My mother sends her condolences and deepest condolences from my entire family to your entire family may you rest in eternal paradise

For almost 20 years straight (since 1989)-…we either saw/visited with each other or spoke to one another on the phone…almost every day. You were my sister then <3 Later- our life paths changed, and we were no longer together -as we once were -and today, I regret being the cause of that separation so much -though I’ve always held you in my heart and prayers -as you were there in my most fundamental of years. I love you Janet. I’ve always Loved you. I’ve never again since-found/had a friend as close, trusted and loved as you.im so sorry….
“Sorry I never told you
All I wanted to say
Now it’s too late to hold you
As you’ve flown away
(…)
Darling, I never showed you
Assumed you’d always be there
I took your presence for granted
But I always cared
And I (forever) miss the love we shared” (One sweet Day-Mariah Carey)
I’ve been taught by our Spiritual teachers/Elders that there is a reason we’ve been put here on earth and when I think of this teaching in regard to you-I think your reason for being on earth was to show others how to LOVE unconditionally and the effort that is needed in doing so-I think of all the goodness and teachings that you gave me
Were about love
unconditional love
The love of a friend, sister and Mother and Aunty-to all
Because…
No one has a heart as big, kind and generous as yours
You always made a huge effort to ensure all around you -were happy
You were kind of like a Mother goose figure …as all the children loved going to visit with their aunt Janet. And I remember your raft bed and how you’d sleep with up to ten or more children/cousins in it laughing, playing cuddling all before bed/dream time-You made sure all the kids felt cozy comfy safe and content- protected from the outside world-and then you’d wake to make everyone the best breakfast every imaginable-WAY better than any restaurant could make as your food also reflected your love of family- in the care and detail of your cooking
And you always made sure every child felt unique and special and you somehow always found a way to gift them all -for Christmas, valentines, birthdays and any holiday that offered you an opportunity to buy fireworks …lol…. and Halloween was always at your house too, because you’d put so much effort into the huge amounts of candy and cuteness factor of the costumes -you would celebrate that and every holiday with all the children .
You were kind of magical in your mothering and in being an aunty
You remembered everyone all the time and gave so much of yourself in doing so
Your sense of giving love, your empathy for others, your periphery that predicted people’s needs….your love/heart and Spirit are immense
And this -is the colorful Spirit of you -that will continue…….in the hearts , minds and memories of those you now leave behind-ill remember you in every act of love and gratitude I do-when I’m giving my own love and empathy to others (especially children)-I’ll do this in honor of you-
I love you
<3 <3 <3 <3
(I wish i had my photographs of these celebrations here -though all of my pictures are still in storage in Kelowna-but i do have a picture of our babies together-for Halloween and our love is reflected/pictured in their love for one another)
i am holding all who loved Janet in my heart and prayers-that you all receive the types of love and nourishment you may need now.

Our dearest daughter Janet. No words can describe our loss of a wonderful child ahead of your parents. Do tell the world how we can get over our loss. We pray to God to keep you safe in his arms for us until we see you and into our arms again. Love you so much much. Missing you our lovely little girl. Mom and Tom(papa).

Aunt Janet you were such a fly girl. I remember you being such a free spirit growing up. Though I’m not blood related you let me call you Aunt Janet and treated me like all the other nieces and nephews. It was so nice to bump into you last year.. may your soul be at peace. My deepest condolences to Jerran, Vonté, Uncle Earl and all who loved Janet

Dear Janet I can’t believe your gone...I miss all the fun times we had my sister. But I hope to see you again when all those asleep in death will awaken.
Song —“He Will Call” -
“Life, like a mist, appears for just a day, Then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away, Replaced with tears and sorrow. If a man should die, can he live again? He will call; The dead will answer. They will live at his command for he will have a longing. For the work of his own hand. So have faith, and do not wonder. For our God will make us stand. And we will live forever, as the work of his own hand.”
See the promise God has made at Job 14:14,15.
