Miss Saro,
You truly were a one a kind lady. Thank you for being my second mother, always being there for me and making me laugh. I will miss our conversations, watching movies with you, the way you braided my hair, your stew, but most of all your laugh and kind hearted soul. I know you are in a good place where people take care of you the way you have taken care of so many throughout your life.
You will be missed greatly. My condolences to your whole family, my extended brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Love you,
Your bambino (Joanna)

I’m finding it difficult to put into words what your mother meant to Howard myself and my children. Yes she was like a second mother to my children and even to me. During my saddest days after my own mother passed she was there to see me through. She was kind and loving and never hesitated to help any of us day or night. She loved her own family fiercely and it was her wish come true when she was able to have her children in Canada with her. The world has lost a truly beautiful woman and I hope all of her family will be comforted in her memories.

Most people in this world are lucky if they have one great mother. I was lucky enough to have 2.
Sarah was a second mother to Steve, Jo and I from day one.
She doted on us and treated us like her own. Always looking out for us and protecting us as fiercely as any parent would their own child.
I will never forget her yelling and screaming at the TV screen when the Blue Jays were playing, cooking stew and roti for all of us, trying to catch Steven and I when we were fighting, or just being there every day for us.
The world has lost a true “mensch” and I have lost part of my heart.
Not a day goes by when something in my life does not remind me of Sar and not a day will go by that I will not miss her.
Richard and family, your mother was a gem and our loss is heavens gain.
I am looking forward to watching the Jays games soon and I know Sar will be up there watching and yelling at the umps and cheering from her first row seat up there.
May the memories of Sarah bring you only happiness and warmth in your time of loss.
Larry, Erin, Becca, Judah, Leah Davidosn

I love you, Grandma Sarah. You are literally a beacon of light and hope and the heart of our family. You were such a kind and loving grandmother who was always there for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Seeing you and grandpa was always such a treat and we always felt so loved and cared for. I love you. I miss you. I haven’t stopped crying since finding out that you had passed and I don’t expect the tears to stop anytime soon. Although Covid-19 had made seeing you pretty much impossible for me, I just want you to know that I never stopped thinking about you and that you were always in my thoughts. I love you, Grandma Sarah. Thank you for loving me, too. Thank you for loving all of us.
- Adrianna, your great granddaughter.

Although I knew it would happen soon
It didn't make it easier losing you.
I'm grateful I got to see you smile
I got to hear you laugh
But most grateful for the love I got from you.
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for hugging me
Thank you for all the kisses
Thank you for teaching me right from wrong
Thank you for instilling the word of God into me.
Yesterday was hard
Today is hard
And tomorrow will be hard as well.
But you know what
I will be fine
We all be fine in time
But we are going to miss you all the time.
Thanks for jokes
Thanks for the treats
But most of all
Thanks for all the memories
I remember our walks to the store,
I remember our little dates
I remember all our movie nights
I remember all the times you reminded me I was loved.
You told me you loved me a thousand times.
You showed me you loved me
In so many ways.
You made me laugh on my bad days.
You made me smile when I thought i couldn't smile.
Thank you for your words
Thank you for your time
Thank you for taking me in
When I needed that extra care
You are a huge part of me
So just know I will be strong
I will be fine in time
So I will hold on to all of the memories
I will hold on to all of the love I got from you
I will cry from time to time
But I'm so thankful I got to know you.
I love you Grandma
