Obituary of Sheila Jones

Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, mentor and foundation of our family Sheila Jones on May 8, 2021, in Toronto, ON.   She shared her life, wisdom, happiness, support and gave unconditional love to her family.  Our mother was predeceased by her loving parents, brothers, David and Daniel Jones and sister Monica Jones.

Our loving mother had 5 biological children. Her eldest and late son Leslie Joseph and she is survived by her remaining 4 children Denny Jones, Denise Joseph, Damian Joseph and Terrance Joseph. Her sister Sylvia Jones and brother Lenny Jones and her adopted son Mukesh Debideen.  She was a grandmother of 14 grandchildren. Great grandmother of 2.  Aunt of nieces and Nephews Natasha, Shaila, Nekeisha Jones, Kayla St. Georges, Kurt and Keigan Jones and many others.  Great Aunt of many. Mother-in-Law of her children’s spouses Patricia, Comran and others.  

She was close to Mother Olive, Mom Nova, Aunty Phillis, Mommy Susanah, Sister Bonnie, Sister Jessica, the Charles family and many family members and friends.  Our mother was a very kind, compassionate, loving person and praying soul. She touched the hearts and lives of everyone around her.  Words cannot express how we feel without her by our side. Though you will be missed mom, we will continue to celebrate your life. Your legacy and memory will remain in our hearts forever.  Rest Peacefully and in Power Mom!   We love you unconditionally.

PANDEMIC INSTRUCTIONS:

Please be advised there is a 10 person maximum capacity permitted in the funeral home (includes children and babies) and a 10 person maximum at the cemetery.  Staff will be continuously monitoring capacity numbers. Once we have reached capacity, guests will be asked to remain outside as there is NO gathering in the funeral centre at any time.

MANDATORY:  Face masks must be worn inside of the funeral centre at all times.
