Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth Simms

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the Matriarch of our family passed away surrounded by our love.  Loving mother to her 4 beautiful and dedicated children, dear mother in law, beloved grandmother to 7 and step grandmother to 2, great grandmother to 6, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.  Dorothy's class and elegance will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.   The family wishes to thank everyone for their messages, texts, prayers and words of comfort.

TO ATTEND THE VISITATION / SERVICE: 

Subject to change at as per government mandate

1.During visitation periods, guests will be rotated in groups of 20. 

2. For services in our chapel, we are permitted 50 people seated, with no rotation of guests.

3. Please note: children and babies also account for numbers.

Mandatory: Face mask/covering/face shield to be worn upon entry. Thank you 

Important Note:  Guests arriving at the centre must still complete contact tracing and answer the COVID questions.

Staff will continuously be monitoring capacity numbers. Once we have reached capacity, guests will be asked to remain outside, as there is NO gathering in the funeral centre at anytime

Outdoor services are permitted 50 people, however, that limit is at the sole discretion of the cemetery.
