My condolences to Dephene's family. I only knew her for a few years before she retired from Humber, what I remember was someone who always had a smile on her face. Rest in peace Delphene. You are missed.

When I think of Delphene, I imagine the Delphinium flower when in bloom stands tall, distinguished, classy and proud as it moves gracefully amidst life’s elements for all to enjoy its’ beauty.
Delphene was a very passionate person who loved her husband, children, her daughter-in-law, grandchildren, family, friends, sports, music and her horse Rusty with intensity. She demonstrated that love for her family and friends with her cooking and baking. Some of her specialties are her Goat curry, black cake carrot cake.
She loved to live her live with zest. Her smile radiated from within. Her laughter was unique; another one of her signatures one had to hear to fully appreciate and enjoy whilst she told her life’s stories.
Delphene, you have made a difference in so many ways by your thoughts and actions. Your thoughtfulness and kindness has transformed many lives and your memory will be etched in many hearts.
Paul, Donna and Debbie as you continue to carry the torch, may you seek inner peace and comfort by reflecting on the memories Mum created through her life’s journey.
Sweet dreams my forever friend. Oh! When you are bored, you can replay the Raptors “Win” their first game.

Amrita, what a beautiful tribute to dear Delphene. Whilst reading your words I was truly touched and you created vivid memories of her in my mind. The light she
shone so brightly on those around her, her tender spirit, and the zeal for life that was reflected in her humour and wonderful laugh. When you heard it, you just couldn’t help but want to join in!!
Delphene, may you rest in the loving arms of our Lord God Almighty, until by His grace & peace he re-unites us all one day soon! Amen.

Dear Paul & Debbie, Donna, Chantel, Alllyah, Tia, Andre and Anderson Family:
I was very sad to hear of the passing of your Mom, Mom-in-Law, & grandma Delphene.
Delphene was a close friend & colleague for 20 yrs.@Humber. We lost touch over the last 15 years but she was always in my heart after I retired and moved away toCambridge Ontario. Paul, Debbie, Donna, you may remember me as your Mom had me over to your home on.several occasions over the years and we did meet. I loved your Mom, she made me laugh when I wanted to cry, she built me up when I needed courage, and she comforted me in times of need. Which there were quite a few over years we worked together. You can be so proud of the woman she was and what she stood for in her life. She will be greatly missed by so many, and her deep LOVE for her whole family is and was her greatest legacy for sure! My deepest condolences.
Sincerely,
Trish Lajoie

Del was my dear and loyal friend, but in every way my sister.
Her devotion and love for her family was pristine. She taught me so much about strength and courage.
Her heart was full of love for so many.
I remember, the many Christmas and barbeque parties, I attended at her home where her amazing hosting skills would be seen. She loved to cook and bake for all of us.
We have shared so many memories and laughed a lot together, especially when we watched Mrs. Bucket. We had a great bond.
I will always have a special place in my heart for her and will miss her very much.
My condolences to Donna, Paul, Debbie and family.
Love Gem

I had the pleasure of working with Delphene for many years when she supported the School of Social and Community Services at Humber's Lakeshore campus. Delphene was so dedicated to the success of our programs - she took good care of us year after year. Whenever we were together, she made me laugh (she had the best laugh). Delphene talked about her family all the time - the love she felt for them was clear. Please accept my deepest condolences.

My amazing friend Delphene laughed with such genuine emotion. I adored and respected her, she was the reason I got up close and personal with the horses at Woodbine. Loved hearing her stories about her life, kids, grandkids and her horse.
Truly a strong woman of passion and compassion. Lots of love and respect. Kamaldip

Navigating the educational system can be quite daunting, but Aunt Del assured me that I could come in and speak with her if I had any questions. So I did. She came out to greet me with a big hug right there in Humber's student services office. I felt so special. It was wonderful having advice from someone who knew me personally, and literally had my best interest at heart. The last time I saw Aunt Del, she was wearing peach. So I will remember her with a peach candle. To her children, grandchildren, and all who loved her, my heart is with you in your time of sorrow.
